| Quantitative Sampling |
|
| Problem / customer requirement: |
- To take a quantitative sample inline or from a reactor,
- To operate in a difficult environment: high temperature and high pressure
- To cool the sample before extracting it.
|
|
| BIAR's solution: |
A new quantitative sampling system capable of:
- taking a determined volume of sample,
- undergoing temperature up to 330°C and pressure up to 160 bars,
- cooling / heating the sample in a chamber before extracting it,
- measuring the pressure and / or temperature before taking the sample,
- having different drive possible (spring to close handwheeel, standard handwheel, ...),
- rincing or neutralising the sampling chamber before taking the sample
- having 100% representative sample,
- and having no dead-space.
|
|
| Disadvantages with other means: |
- Explosion risk due to drastic volume increase seen with certain product when liquid and gas are mixed up. Only a cooling in a chamber guaranteed a sure sampling.
